SeoContest2008 - From nowhere to page 12

I’m about to give up on this SeoContest2008 and the reason is, I couldn’t find my website on Google. I have patiently browsed each page to look for my SeoContest2008 url.  There were about 666,000 query results for the keyword “SeoContest2008″ which is about more than 100 pages to be indexed.  But Google had it limited to only 67 pages with 663 url results.

I then checked Google for the current result for the said keyword.  This time I was about to check only 10 pages but I pushed through to go for 15 pages.  Shockingly my website appeared on page 12!  Wow!! Participating on this contest for only 7 days I could compete on a keyword basis to be indexed on page 12.  How much more If I joined from the beginning!!  This gives me hopes and it really excites me!  I thought I’ve been reading a wrong SEO Book! Thanks to SeoBook.

However, this is not the page that I’ve been optimizing for.  I’ve been optimizing http://www.paulvillacorta.com/seocontest2008 not the post that I’ve made on this category.  Further study and analysis should follow on this case..

For the next Seo Contest 2008 2! This time, this is the real challenge!! SeoContest2008 will end tomorrow 1pm UK Time..  I still have time for it tho…
