Checking my email for new updates, I’ve got a friend request on my Facebook account.  And guess what? that’s the only reason I’ve been checking my Facebook account for some new “friend” request.  So I checked my facebook account and guess what I’ve found “The NEW Facebook“, this made me became more curious and this time I’m gonna share what Facebook improvements have.

• Wide Layout - notice the difference from thin Facebook to wide Facebook? Not just monitors or televisions are getting wide, but also Facebook is getting a wide layout! Wide looks better for me but for some they want the slim sexy layout back.

  

• Facebook Application Tab - for some avid Facebook users this is really helpful, a right approach to manage applications.  I wonder how would it look like if you’ve got more than 10 applications to manage?

  

• The Publisher - This feature do look like something else.. Twitter is one, Plurk is another, Ping.fm and maybe more and so, I guess this could be the trend for web 2.0.

  

• Wall Filters - The question is, why is there a need to post all those status that have been made between you and your friends on your profile page? Just like emails Facebook made a filter option to filter those notifications.  How about adding additional feature like turn it “ON” or “OFF”.  I guess the solution is to snob those requests ;-p

  

I wonder how other facebook users feel about the new look. I wonder..  I guess they’re still on the BETA version of their facebook facelift.  I suggest you experience the new Facebook on your own after reading this thing on.
